LOOK: The 27 former Philippine Air Force (PAF) pilots who are now lending their services and expertise at CAAP also graced the Philippine Air Force Flying School (PAFFS) “Balik Fernando 2024” alumni homecoming at the AETDC Grandstand, Fernando Air Base in Lipa City yesterday, 13 April 2024.
Among them were Flight Standard and Inspectorate Service (FSIS) Chief Capt. Florendo Jose Aquino, CAAP Security and Intelligence Service (CSIS) Assistant Director General MGen. Ricardo Banayat, Flight Operations Department OIC Capt. Michael Gary Bueno, Licensing and Certification Department Manager Atty. Nestor Vicente Pasano, CSIS Security Division Chief Col. Isiah Espino, and CSIS Intelligence and Investigation Division Chief BGen. Dionisio Robles.
BGen. Robles also received the Golden Aviator Award for Public Service during the event.
Their dedication and invaluable contributions were celebrated by this year’s esteemed guest of honor, CAAP Director General Capt. Manuel Antonio Tamayo, who highlighted their ongoing commitment to shaping a bright future for the civil aviation industry after their retirement from the PAF.
