The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) is actively ramping up its passenger assistance efforts at its commercially operated airports nationwide in response to the Department of Transportationโs (DOTr) “Oplan Byaheng Ayos: Synchronized National and Local Elections 2025,” underscoring the government’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and convenient travel experience for the anticipated surge of passengers during the election period.
These enhanced measures encompass a range of services and improvements across CAAP-operated airports nationwide.
In coordination with partner agencies, travelers can expect increased personnel deployment in key areas such as check-in counters, security checkpoints, and boarding gates to expedite processes and minimize waiting times.
Information desks and help centers are also expected to be more visible and readily available to address passenger inquiries and provide necessary guidance.
Furthermore, the Authority is coordinating closely with airlines and other airport stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and timely flight schedules during this peak travel period.
By proactively strengthening passenger assistance efforts, CAAP aims to mitigate potential inconveniences and ensure the safety and comfort of all those utilizing air transport to participate in the upcoming National and Local Elections or travel for other purposes during this time.
