Pasay City – The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) is set to advance the countryโs civil aviation industry during the second mission of European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to the Philippines on 31 March and 2-3 April 2025, for the development of the countryโs Civil Aviation Master Plan (CAMP).

CAMP is an initiative that aims to formulate a strategic roadmap for the Philippines that will foster a more interconnected, sustainable, and resilient civil aviation industry.
Under the EU-ASEAN Sustainable Connectivity Package – Aviation Partnership Project (SCOPE APP), funded by the European Union (EU), 8 EU aviation specialists will provide their expertise to CAAP in aligning the Philippine CAMP with international standards.
Building upon the successful kick-off assembly and bilateral sessions held last January, the upcoming meetings at Citadines Bay City Manila will focus on EASAโs presentation and receiving feedback on the project’s intermediate results on the situation analysis, benchmarking study, and strategic guidelines for the Philippine CAMP development.
The three-day event will feature capacity-building sessions and focus group discussions across key CAMP areas, encompassing Airport Master Plans, Airspace Regulation and Operations, Aviation-Related Training, Areas for Investment, Environmental Concerns, and the National Aviation Safety Plan (NASP), among others.
Key stakeholders, including airlines, airport authorities, air and cargo operators, and government agencies, will also join the discussions.
This collaboration, focused on the cooperative development of CAMP, will further drive CAAP towards developing a strategic master plan that ensures a safer, more secure, and greener Philippine sky.
