Several Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) employees joined the Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST-PHIVOLCS) in a seminar on earthquake awareness and preparedness and demonstration of an earthquake simulator from 13-14 June 2024.

In an effort to promote resilience in its operations, CAAP employees were acquainted with earthquake scenarios and how to prepare for the possibility of a high-magnitude earthquake in Metro Manila.
