The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) marks a significant milestone in its aeronautical information management as the Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) has successfully transitioned the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) to a digital format. This major step demonstrates the Authority’s commitment to technological innovation and environmental sustainability.

The new electronic Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) represents a modern and efficient approach to information dissemination, giving aviation professionals and stakeholders access to comprehensive, up-to-date aeronautical information through a digital platform, effectively replacing traditional paper-based documentation.

What is the AIP?

The AIP is the official aeronautical information document of the Republic of the Philippines published under the CAAP intended to inform and adhere to international regulatory standards and requirements. It contains aeronautical data essential to air navigation, such as details on airspace, aerodromes, heliports, and their uses, aeronautical charts, as well as circulars and other supplementary information.

The electronic version of the AIP may now be accessed through ais.caap.gov.ph via subscription.
