On 7 April 2025, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) formalized partnerships with key organizations for the upcoming 2025 Philippine Aviation Summit. The agreement was signed at the Marriott Hotel by DOTr Undersecretary for Aviation and Airports Capt. Jim Sydiongco and CAAP Director General LTGEN Raul Del Rosario AFP (Ret), along with representatives from Department of Tourism (DOT), event co-organizers European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA), and co-presenter Philippine Airlines (PAL).

All stakeholders expressed strong commitment toward advancing the Philippine aviation sector. The 2025 Philippine Aviation Summit is scheduled for October 8-9, 2025, at the Marriott Hotel Manila in Pasay City.

First launched in 2023, the Philippine Aviation Summit serves as a crucial platform for industry leaders, stakeholders, and enthusiasts to chart a sustainable and globally competitive future for Philippine aviation. The summit facilitates discussions on market trajectories, emerging trends, and growth opportunities within the sector.

The collaborative effort between government aviation authorities and key industry players underscores the shared vision to strengthen the Philippines’ position in the regional and global aviation landscape.
