On 7 March 2025, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) celebrated the graduation of this year’s first Leadership Course (LDR) batch at the Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC) in Merville, Pasay City.
LDR Batch 01/25 Class “Gahum” is composed of 29 employees from various CAAP offices who completed the 10-day leadership program.
Held multiple times in a year, the course’s curriculum focuses on developing essential leadership competencies through a blend of interactive workshops and practical exercises, equipping participants to effectively navigate the increased responsibilities of leadership roles.
LDR graduates are expected to demonstrate key leadership qualities and skills necessary to foster a culture of cooperation, rapport, and mutual respect within the agency.
The graduation ceremony was graced by the presence of CAAP Director General LTGEN Raul L Del Rosario AFP (Ret), CATC Chief Gina Marie C. Lazo, Human Resource Management Division (HRMD) Chief Amneris Gabriel, and other esteemed CAAP departmental representatives.
In his concluding address, DG Del Rosario extended his warm congratulations to the graduates, challenging them to embody exceptional leadership and drive positive change within the Authority.

Through the CATC, CAAP conducts various training programs throughout the year to advance its workforce into highly competent and effective leaders, reinforcing its commitment to excellence in civil aviation leadership.
