To reinforce aviation safety and regulatory compliance, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), in collaboration with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), conducted a virtual briefing on Illegal Charter Operations on 19 March 2025.

The session was attended by 121 participants from CAAP airports and offices, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Bureau of Immigration (BI), Bureau of Customs (BOC), Office for Transportation Security (OTS), and PNP Aviation Security Unit (PNP-AVSEU), highlighting the importance of collective vigilance in addressing unauthorized charter flights.

Among the topics discussed during the virtual briefing include aviation safety risks and regulatory concerns, identifying illegal charter operations, and the latest trends and enforcement measures.

Through these efforts, CAAP remains committed to ensuring safe and legal air travel while upholding the highest aviation standards.
