On Thursday, 13 March 2025, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) actively participated in the 1st Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) for 2025, demonstrating its proactive stance towards enhanced national disaster preparedness.
CAAP personnel from the Central Office, Area Centers, and Airports nationwide fully engaged in the drill to execute the agency’s emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.
The synchronous earthquake drill, led by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), aimed to elevate the nation’s preparedness and refine emergency response protocols for a high-magnitude earthquake scenario.
