The Bakhawan Mangrove Forest is one of the most successful mangrove reforestation projects in all of Southeast Asia. Located along the Aklan River in Kalibo, Aklan (the gateway to Boracay Island), the Bakhawan Mangrove Forest offers a wide variety of outdoor, cultural, and culinary attractions and activities for visitors to enjoy. Tickets can be purchased on-site at the park’s entrance. The Bakhawan Forest is only a 10-minute drive from Kalibo International Airport.
