75 front line employees from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Central Office in Pasay City were vaccinated with the help of Pasay City local government unit’s (LGU) “Vacc to the Future” Program today, 18 June 2021.

The administration of the first dose to 75 CAAP workers was held at the giga vaccination hub at the Galeon in MOA Complex, Pasay City and was achieved through the efforts of the CAAP’s COVID-19 Vaccination Task Force who coordinated the group vaccination of with the Pasay City LGU.



“CAAP is grateful to the Pasay City LGU. With this endeavor, we want to show our fellow employees that we are serious in our goal of protecting the CAAP community from COVID-19 by advocating for the vaccination of our employees,” CAAP Director General Captain Jim C. Sydiongco said.


DG Sydiongco also encouraged other CAAP employees to get vaccinated by saying, “to safely move forward in facing the new normal, getting fully vaccinated will ensure that we are reducing risks of infection and illness not only in the workplace but also at home.”

CAAP is set to have another batch of employees vaccinated through the program in future dates.

Meanwhile, continuous vaccination of CAAP frontline workers in CAAP provincial offices and CAAP-operated airports are also being done.
